Lt. Benjamin Brabrook
Lieut. Benjamin Brabrook was born July 12, 1741,Acton. He married Lydia Taylor in 1770 and they had two children Benjamin and Lydia. Benjamin was the 2nd Sergeant in Capt. Israel Company and 2nd Lt. In Capt. Simon Hunt's Co. The Brabrook homestead was built in 1751 and the family lived there for about 150 years. Lt. Brabrook served as Town Treasurer 1787-1792. He died in 1827 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery.
